Privacy Policy
1. Introduction
MiColor Group LLC, operating as MiPalette ("we," "our," or "us"), is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website and use our services, including our palette design tools, community voting platform, and creator marketplace.
2. Information We Collect
Personal Information: When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and profile information. If you make a purchase or participate in community voting, we collect billing and shipping addresses.
Creator Information: If you join as a creator, we may collect additional information such as your social media profiles, portfolio, and business details for verification purposes.
Google/YouTube Creator Verification: If you choose to verify a YouTube channel during a creator application, we use Google OAuth with the read-only YouTube scope https://www.googleapis.com/auth/youtube.readonly. We access the selected channel's channel ID, channel name, and public subscriber count. We use this information only to authenticate access to the channel and determine whether your account meets MiPalette's creator eligibility requirements, including a public subscriber count of at least 50,000 in the current creator package flow. We do not use this access to publish videos, edit channel details, read or post comments, send marketing messages, or perform other unrelated YouTube actions. The OAuth access token is used temporarily to complete the verification request and is not stored in the creator verification record.
Usage Data: We automatically collect information about your interactions with our platform, including pages visited, features used, and design tool activity.
Payment Information: Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store your full credit card numbers or CVV codes on our servers.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve our services
- Process transactions and send related information
- Send you technical notices, updates, and support messages
- Respond to your comments, questions, and requests
- Monitor and analyze trends, usage, and activities
- Detect, investigate, and prevent fraudulent transactions
- Personalize and improve your experience
- Facilitate community voting campaigns and creator-customer connections
- Authenticate a creator's YouTube channel and evaluate creator eligibility
4. Information Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:
- Service Providers: Third-party vendors who assist with payment processing, shipping, analytics, and customer support
- Google/YouTube API Services: When you authorize YouTube verification, Google processes the OAuth request and YouTube API call needed to return the selected channel's verification data. We use that data only for creator authentication and eligibility review; we do not sell it or use it for advertising or unrelated purposes.
- Creators: When you purchase a palette, the creator may receive your name and general location for fulfillment purposes
- Legal Requirements: When required by law or to protect our rights and safety
5. Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information. All data is encrypted in transit using SSL/TLS and at rest. We regularly review our security practices and update them as necessary.
6. Cookies & Tracking
We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to enhance your experience. Essential cookies are required for the platform to function. Google Analytics 4 and Egaki website analytics are enabled automatically when you visit, without a website consent popup. These services use cookies or browser storage and collect visitor and session identifiers, page URLs, referral sources, and interaction data. Advertising personalization is not enabled by this default analytics setting. You can manage cookies and storage through your browser settings or contact [email protected] about privacy requests.
With your permission, Meta Pixel measures page visits, product views, clicks, cart actions, searches, and checkout redirects for advertising measurement and audience creation. Meta may receive browser identifiers, page URLs, and product interaction data. You can allow, reject, or withdraw this permission using the Ad cookies control on the site. Shopify handles checkout and purchase measurement under its own privacy settings.
