30 to 50 beauty creators and guests
On Saturday, June 27, MiPalette brought Glow & Build to New York City for an afternoon built around color, creativity, and community. Hosted at AFM's New York headquarters, the Make-Up Show invited guests to move beyond a one-size-fits-all palette and build a system that feels like their own.
The room was bright with conversation and possibility: a wall of individual shades, hands-on palette building, a steady stream of cameras and phones, and creators making content as the event unfolded. It was less about standing back and looking, more about getting in, trying, choosing, and making something personal.
01 / The experience
Color,
built your way.
At the center of the experience was MiPalette's modular system. Guests explored the color wall, selected shades that spoke to them, and saw how easy it is to arrange, rearrange, and replenish a palette over time. The format made a simple point feel tangible: beauty should leave room for instinct, experimentation, and change.

02 / Education + expression
Technique
with room to play.
MiPalette founder Jane Mao and co-branded education partner Dawn Maloney brought the brand's point of view into the room: technique matters, but so does the confidence to make it your own. Dawn's artist-led learning anchored the afternoon in practical education alongside the energy of discovery.
03 / Creator culture
Made to be
shared.
With TikTok Shop integrated into the event, creators filmed, shared, and connected in the moment. QR codes made the path from discovery to product seamless, while the room itself became a setting for beauty stories being told as they happened.
